Senior Director of Integrated Care, Behavioral Health Team, Executive Leadership


Christine King, LMHC-A brings extensive experience in behavioral health, program development and clinical leadership, with a strong focus on integrated, patient-centered care. Her expertise spans counseling, care coordination and multidisciplinary team leadership, all grounded in a commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered approaches that improve access and outcomes for individuals and families.

Since joining Wood River Health, Christine has led the development and delivery of integrated care services, overseeing behavioral health and care coordination programs that strengthen collaboration between primary care and behavioral health providers. Through her leadership, Wood River Health continues to expand access to comprehensive services and address the social drivers of health across the community.

Prior to and throughout her career, Christine has worked collaboratively with clinical teams and community partners to design and implement innovative programs that enhance care coordination, improve patient engagement and support whole-person health.

In addition to her leadership role, Christine serves on the Rhode Island Behavioral Health Trauma Response Team and has participated in Kingian Nonviolence Training and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, reflecting her commitment to compassionate, community-centered care.

Christine holds a degree from Providence College and a master’s degree from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. She also holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Rhode Island College.
