Why Support Wood River Health
Wood River Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center, or FQHC. We receive federal funding to provide high-quality primary care to people in underserved communities.
For more than 50 years, FQHCs have helped improve access to care, reduce health disparities, lower emergency room use, save taxpayer dollars and strengthen local economies.
Why Your Support Matters
The cost of medical equipment and supplies has increased significantly since the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, federal funding and insurance reimbursements no longer fully cover the cost of providing care.
Because of this gap, health centers like Wood River Health rely on donations, sponsorships and grant funding. Your support helps ensure that everyone in our community can access the care they need.
How to Give
Individuals wishing to invest in our mission are encouraged to make a secure online donation or mail a check written to Wood River Health. Please include the name of the campaign or program you are supporting in the memo line on your check.
