Many of our patients are working families, older adults, individuals in recovery or neighbors facing financial hardship.

As a community health center, Wood River Health provides compassionate, high-quality care regardless of a person's ability to pay. We are often the place people turn when they have nowhere else to go.

While insurance reimbursements and government funding help support our work, they do not cover the full cost of caring for our community. Philanthropy fills that gap.

We use Zeffy because it is a nonprofit fundraising platform that allows 100% of your donation to support Wood River Health. Recovery changes lives.

The Paul Jordan Memorial Recovery Fund honors the life, compassion and unwavering commitment of Paul Jordan, whose recovery journey inspired him to help others find hope, healing, and purpose.

Memorial gifts to this fund provide support for individuals in recovery and help expand programs and services that empower people to build healthier, more stable lives.

Help a Neighbor in Need

Sometimes the greatest barriers to health have nothing to do with health care.

The Kim Hebert Community Fund provides assistance to patients facing immediate challenges that threaten their health and well-being, including transportation needs, housing instability, food insecurity, utility assistance and access to essential services.

The fund honors Kimberley Hebert, a beloved Wood River Health patient whose courage and resilience inspired all who knew her.

Your gift helps ensure that patients have the support they need to overcome obstacles, stay healthy and move forward with dignity and hope.

How Donors Are Recognized

Donors receive a thank you letter from Wood River Health's President and CEO. Donors who give $250 or more during a calendar year will receive an additional letter in January to assist with tax preparation. The names of all donors, regardless of the amount of their contribution, are included in Wood River Health’s Annual Report.
