Transportation to Appointments
Wood River Health offers free transportation to medical, dental, or other non-emergency appointments at our Hope Valley and Westerly locations. You don’t need insurance, and it won’t cost you anything.
We serve Washington County and nearby areas, including parts of Connecticut. Our service is strictly for appointments at our Hope Valley or Westerly locations and does not include extra stops. There may be other restrictions.
Transportation is available Monday through Friday. Please contact us at 401.539.2461 Ext 240 as soon as possible so we can best meet your transportation needs. If our van is unavailable, we may be able to help you find other transportation.
Tuesday Shuttle Service
Wood River Health offers a shuttle service on Tuesdays with stops in Charlestown, Richmond and Hope Valley. Visit local stores, pharmacies, the YMCA and more! The shuttle currently runs 8:30 AM to 12:20 PM on Tuesdays. To request a schedule, please call 401.539.2461 Ext 240.
Pharmaceutical Services
Genoa Healthcare operates onsite at our Hope Valley location. The pharmacy provides Wood River Health’s patients with a convenient option for filling prescriptions where they receive their medical, behavioral health and dental care.
Genoa Healthcare provides specialized pharmacy offerings to simplify the patient’s medication management, such as pre-filled pill organizers to help patients track their medications, convenient medication mailing options and assistance with authorizations and insurance plans.
Lab Services
Wood River Health provides Laboratory Services from East Side Clinical Laboratory at our Hope Valley location. No appointment is necessary. All Wood River Health patients welcome.
Physical Therapy Services
Specialized Orthopedic Physical Therapy operates onsite at our Hope Valley location providing Wood River Health’s patients with a convenient option for physical therapy related to sports injuries, post-operative therapy, overuse injuries, balance disorders, joint and muscle sprains.
Sliding Fee Scale Program
As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we offer a Sliding Fee Scale Program and payment plans.
