Family Nurse Practitioner, Medical Providers Team
Alexa Allard joined Wood River Health in August 2023 as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Alexa has worked at Newport Hospital and for South County Health, where she has cared for patients and families in the hospital and in the community throughout Washington County. She undertook additional training focusing on the importance of dietary approaches to prevent and manage hypertension. Alexa is passionate about incorporating individual and family-centered education in primary care to support prevention of illness and achieve wellness.
Alexa obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Salve Regina University.
