Wayne Powell obtained his Bachelor’s degree in nursing at SUNY Plattsburgh, NY in 1992. He completed his Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in 2007 at the University of Vermont, after working for several years as a Registered Nurse on both adolescent and adult inpatient psychiatric units. He spent 10 years working as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Rutland Regional Behavioral Health in Rutland, VT, before moving to Rhode Island in October 2018.
