Chief Financial Officer, Executive Leadership
Donald Frink brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit finance and administration, with a strong background in financial management, strategic planning and operational efficiency. His expertise spans budgeting, financial systems design, internal controls and process improvement, all grounded in a commitment to supporting mission-driven organizations and strengthening long-term sustainability.
Since joining Wood River Health in May 2024, Donald has led financial strategy and operations, supporting organizational growth and enhancing financial systems to improve data visibility, efficiency and decision-making.
Prior to joining Wood River Health, Frink served as Vice President of Finance at Vista Life Innovations, where he oversaw financial operations for a nonprofit organization supporting individuals with disabilities. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Finance and Property at Homeward Bound, Inc., where he managed financial systems and infrastructure in support of residential services for individuals with complex needs.
Throughout his career, he has held roles as an auditor, assistant controller and Chief Financial Officer across a range of nonprofit organizations, building expertise across diverse funding structures and service models. He began his career in public accounting, where he developed a strong foundation in financial reporting and a passion for supporting nonprofit missions.
Donald holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
