Chief Compliance Officer and Quality Improvement Director, Executive Leadership


Lynda Greene joined the Wood River Health Services leadership team in 2012. She came to Wood River with over forty years of experience in community health centers.

As the Chief Compliance Officer/ Director of Quality, her responsibilities include developing and overseeing the Compliance and Quality programs for Wood River Health Services. Ms. Greene is responsible for data maintenance and reporting in connection with our Universal Data Systems. She additionally oversees the administration of the organization’s Care Management, and Women, Infants and Children Nutritional Supplement program. Ms. Greene is the organization Risk Manager and Privacy Officer.

Ms. Greene was instrumental in Wood River Health Services achieving NCQA PCMH recognition.

Prior to joining the staff at Wood River she was the Director of Clinical Operations at HealthFirst Family Care Center in Fall River, Massachusetts, where she organized, directed and evaluated the delivery of health center patient care services, establishing the standards of service working closely with the CEO and Medical Director. She was one of the principal writers on a $12 million HRSA grant HealthFirst received for enhancing facilities and was instrumental in the design of their new facility.

She has also served as the Director of Satellite Clinics and Manager of Nutrition Services at Providence Community Health Centers, where she was employed for 15 years. As Manager of Nutrition Services, she was responsible for the making the WIC Program, the largest program in the State of Rhode Island and one of the state’s most successful.

She started her career as a WIC Nutritionist/ Coordinator. Ms. Greene has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Rhode. She is a Licensed Nutritionist in the State of Rhode Island and has served on the state Licensing Board for Dietitians and Nutritionists.
