Director of Behavioral Health, Our Behavioral Health Team, Leadership Team
Amanda Brycki is the Director of Behavioral Health at Wood River Health. Amanda has her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from University of Hartford and is currently licensed in both Connecticut and Rhode Island as a Counselor. Amanda does clinical work including individual and group therapy with all age ranges and is trained in multiple evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model, Seeking Safety, and Motivation Interviewing. Amanda’s clinical specialties include adults with substance use disorders and trauma.
In additional to clinical work, Amanda has been a member of leadership in two federally qualified health centers in Connecticut and in Rhode Island managing and developing programs, training and mentoring interns and new clinicians, and managing grants and interdepartmental workflow operations. Amanda recently completed a certification from UMASS for Primary Care Behavioral Health program.
